As Ministry of Labour authorized providers of Joint Health & Safety Certification training, Industrial Safety Trainers Inc. is one of Ontario’s largest independent providers of Health & Safety programs, consulting and training. Our business focuses on two services: Safety Training and Consulting.
Incorporated in 2002, Industrial Safety Trainers Inc. offers over 40 safety training programs. Every course is developed to meet CSA, ANSI or other applicable standards and provincial legislation. These safety training programs are offered mostly on-site, and are delivered specific to the needs of the business. We also regularly offer several of our primary safety programs in a public format in various cities across Ontario. For those clients who do not have a meeting space available, we can provide a mobile training unit we call The Safety Bus. The Safety Bus is a custom, rolling classroom, complete with built in TV/DVD player, heating/air conditioning and a seating capacity for up to 15 people.
Our Consulting Division was developed so that we could assist companies with case-specific scenarios including: accident investigation, site inspections, the development of policies and procedures as well as on-site consulting covering a broad range of topics that allows businesses to meet the WSIB WorkWell Audit requirements, and/or CSA-Z1000 standards, and conducting Risk Assessments and the development of associated Policies and Procedures at they pertain to Bill 168 – Violence in the Workplace.
We believe the goal of making a workplace safe should not be a burden to the employer, it should be easy and affordable. We strive to ensure that our clients are educated about the applicable provincial and federal safety laws and how they should be applied. Our team works closely with our clients to deliver a solid understanding of the material along with dependable solutions for compliance with regulations. Our services are offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no extra charge. We are proud to be the approved training vendors for Canadian Tire, Tim Hortons, Wendy's Corporate Restaurants, Nortrax, Bluewater District School Board, Sir Sanford Fleming College, and training providers to the Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium member base.
