As the preferred training providers for Wendy’s corporate, IST offers Certification training for your restaurant on a continuous basis. If you need workers certified outside of the scheduled courses set up by our office not to worry, we’ll get you scheduled to attend on of our other public restaurant training programs.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS AS REQUIRED BY THE "OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND
SAFETY ACT AND REGULATIONS”
OHSA, Section 9(12)- It is required by the “Occupational Health and Safety Act” that all workplaces in Ontario, employing more than 20 workers must have a Joint Health and Safety Committee. Further to that at least one (1) Worker and one (1) Management member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) must have completed Part One and Part Two Certification Training by a WSIB Authorized Training Provider.
LEVEL ONE: BASIC CERTIFICATION TRAINING.
Our Basic Certification Program is delivered over two days within a scholastic environment where participant interaction is encouraged. Course content includes sessions in:
