OHSA Section 9 (12) - Once the JHSC members have successfully completed ‘Part 1 - Basic Certification Training’, they are required to fulfill the requirements of ‘Part 2—Industry Specific Training’.

Alternatively, Industrial Safety Trainers Inc. can customize a Level 2 traning program designed around your specific needs. The first step is to conduct a hazard assessment of the workplace. The JHSC members are then required to take training on those hazards so they can effectively determine whether they are adequately controlled.
Working in conjunction with your JHSC, Human Resources, and/or Loss Control (H&S) Department, we can assist you with hazard assessment and follow-up with tailoring an effective program to meet your training requirements for full certification. Each module in this program is approximately 2 hours long and will be customized to suite your particular work environment.
Based on your Hazard Assessment, your training will consist of the modules below that apply to your workplace:
