Legal Requirements of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
- Under Section 8 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, it states that "an employer who employs more than 5 employees but not more than 20, shall appoint a worker to represent workers as a safety representative"
- Section 25(2)(a) says that employers are required to "provide instruction and supervision to a worker to protect the health or safety of the worker"
